Wangaratta High School has a compulsory uniform to:
Promote a positive image of the school and its students in the community.
Create a sense of collective and individual pride in students and their identification with the school.
Ensure individual student and group safety.
Prevent discrimination and remove class or sub-group stigma, allowing students to concentrate on their learning.
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines require footwear to be strong leather shoes or boots.
